When I brought you home, 

You were lonely as one.

So I went back for brother,

To double the fun.

'Windu' so gentle,

Always first to play tag.

'Yoda' the adventurist, 

Always caught in my bag.

'Cats' to most others, 

But 'My Children' to me. 

To my son you were brothers,

So, now I had three.

But then came the day, 

That you went to the Vet. 

It had changed your whole future,  

This I'll never forget.

*

You had caught a disease, 

From that God awful place.

And with this sad news, 

My son I must face.

*

Then just two weeks later, 

You were gone from this earth. 

I remember watching you grow, 

Even witnessed your birth.

*

How angry I was, 

That you left us this way. 

I will never forget you, 

On this sad day.
